Our First Donation: Giving Back to Katie's Place

We're proud to support animals in need through our first charitable donation to Katie's Place Animal Shelter in Maple Ridge, BC.

Today marks a milestone that means more to us than any sale, follower count, or website launch.

We're incredibly proud to share that Monterey x Jack has made its first charitable donation: $100 to Katie's Place Animal Shelter in Maple Ridge, BC.

This donation is especially meaningful because Monterey's story began there.

Before becoming the inspiration behind Monterey x Jack, Monterey was one of the many cats cared for by the incredible team at Katie's Place. Thanks to their dedication, compassion, and commitment to helping cats find loving homes, Monterey found his way into our family and completely changed our lives for the better.

When we started Monterey x Jack, we knew we wanted to create beautiful products for pets. But we also wanted our business to have a purpose beyond collars, leashes, and accessories. At its heart, Monterey x Jack has always been about celebrating the animals who make our lives better every single day.

That's why giving back has been part of our vision from the beginning.

Why Katie's Place?

Katie's Place is a volunteer-run, no-kill animal shelter dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats in need throughout the Lower Mainland.

Their team works tirelessly to provide medical care, foster support, and loving homes for cats who deserve a second chance.

For us, Katie's Place is more than a shelter. It's where Monterey's journey began. Without the work they do, we may never have had the opportunity to welcome him into our family.
